monsys.ai (operated by GoTrust BV, Belgium) provides a server monitoring service. Creating an account or installing the agent constitutes acceptance of these terms. Read them carefully — they govern your rights AND our limited liability.
monsys.ai monitors your infrastructure on a best-effort basis. We do NOT warrant uninterrupted availability, a guaranteed detection latency, the delivery of any specific alert, or any specific uptime of our hub or API.
Our infrastructure is hosted in the EU and runs redundantly, but incidents, scheduled maintenance, software bugs, and upstream outages can and do happen. We will use reasonable efforts to keep the service stable — that is a duty of effort, not a duty of result.
The absence, delay, or misinterpretation of an alert is not a breach of this agreement and does not give rise to any form of compensation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, monsys.ai and its operator are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:
• loss of data, data corruption, or unreadable backups, whether on monitored systems or within monsys.ai itself;
• financial loss, lost profits, or revenue loss caused by downtime, missed alerts, or misinterpretation of metrics;
• reputational harm, customer loss, or contractual penalties owed to third parties;
• damages caused by third parties (cloud providers, ISPs, hardware vendors, third-party integrations like Slack, ntfy, email providers, payment processors);
• damages caused by incidents on your own infrastructure, even if monsys.ai should have or could have detected them.
Our total aggregate liability, in the exceptional event that it is established, is in any case capped at the amount you paid for the service in the last 3 months, with an absolute maximum of €500.
monsys.ai is NOT a replacement for a backup strategy, a disaster recovery plan, a security operations center, a compliance audit, or competent system administration. You remain solely responsible for:
• your own backups, restore tests, and failover infrastructure;
• the security of your servers, credentials, and networks;
• acting in a timely manner on the alerts and telemetry you receive via monsys.ai;
• complying with applicable law (GDPR, NIS2, sector-specific).
Dashboards, AI Explain, anomaly detection, blast-radius and compliance scoring are decision-support tools — they do NOT replace human judgement.
You are responsible for installing and updating the monsys agent correctly, for choosing which servers to onboard, for safeguarding your tenant tokens, and for configuring your alert routing (email, ntfy, webhooks) correctly.
Abuse of the service — scanning systems you don't have authorization for, injecting falsified telemetry, deliberately overloading the hub API — is prohibited and gives us the right to suspend your account immediately and without notice.
The first 5 servers are free forever. From the 6th server onward, you pay €3 per server per month, prorated per calendar day that an agent is connected to the hub.
Payment is processed via Stripe or PayPal. Adding a 6th or further agent requires a valid stored payment method. Failed direct-debits or declined transactions trigger a 7-day grace period, after which paid features are suspended.
Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email to the account owner.
You can cancel your paid plan at any time — your tenant remains active at the Free tier (max 5 servers).
Agent telemetry and metadata are stored on infrastructure located within the EU. Free accounts: 7-day retention. Pro accounts: 90-day retention. When you downgrade from Pro to Free (by removing your payment method) you keep 90-day retention for an additional 30 days so you can export your data — after that, telemetry older than 7 days is deleted automatically. When an agent is removed or the account is cancelled, data is deleted within 30 days.
We process personal data in accordance with GDPR — see our privacy notice. monsys.ai does not transmit raw log lines or file content (only aggregates), unless you explicitly invoke the emergency console, in which case every second is recorded in a signed audit trail.
These terms are governed exclusively by Belgian law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Antwerp, Antwerp division.
We may amend these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new version.
